Kitchen grease ducts and general air ducts
Commercial kitchen extraction ducts carry cooking fumes and airborne grease. General ventilation and supply-air ducts have a different role and may contain dust and debris. We identify which system needs attention before recommending a clean. Laundry extraction enquiries are also assessed separately because lint and access requirements differ from kitchen grease cleaning.
What the visit can include
The agreed work may cover inspection of the duct route, removal of accumulated deposits from accessible internal surfaces, cleaning through existing access panels and a record of the condition after cleaning. For kitchen extraction, the canopy, filters and fan can be included in the same scope so that the connected system is considered together.
Getting access to the hidden sections
Ducts may pass above ceilings, through risers or outside at height. Safe access must be planned before work begins. Let us know about locked plant rooms, roof restrictions and building management permits. Additional access panels or specialist equipment may be necessary; these requirements are discussed rather than left as a surprise on the night.
Commercial, laundry and residential enquiries
Choose your property type in the booking form. For a restaurant, tell us about the cooking line and extraction route. For a laundry, describe the machines and discharge arrangement. For a residential system, include the property type and whether the enquiry concerns a cooker hood, extract ventilation or another air system. We confirm suitability before accepting the work.
After the clean
We document the agreed work and flag inaccessible areas. Cleaning removes deposits; it does not replace mechanical repair, electrical testing or system redesign.
