Kitchen canopy and grease filter cleaning in London
A clean canopy supports the daily care of your cooking line. We remove grease from agreed canopy surfaces, clean suitable removable grease filters and assess the accessible areas behind them.
More than the visible stainless steel
Cooking deposits collect on the canopy, behind filters and in accessible parts of the extraction plenum. A surface wipe may leave these areas untouched. Our scope is agreed around your canopy design, equipment below it and the condition of the removable filters.
What can be included
A canopy visit can include degreasing agreed internal and external surfaces, cleaning removable metal grease filters and cleaning accessible surfaces behind the filter bank. We can combine this with ductwork and extraction fan cleaning. The quote will explain which components are included and what access is required.
Metal filters and carbon filters are different
Suitable metal grease filters can often be cleaned and refitted. Carbon filters are not treated as washable grease filters and may need replacement according to the system and manufacturer’s guidance. If you are unsure what is fitted, send a clear photograph rather than ordering replacements by guesswork.
Working around a busy cooking line
Tell us your closing time, when hot equipment will be cool enough to work around and any equipment that cannot be moved. We plan the appointment to suit safe access and the agreed cleaning method. Evening and overnight visits can be arranged for restaurants, takeaways, cafés and hotel kitchens.
Keeping the full system in view
A clean canopy does not show the condition of the whole duct route. If there is no recent extraction report, or the fan and ductwork have not been assessed, ask us about a wider survey. We serve North West, West and Central London and consider enquiries across Zones 1–4.
